As the new school year begins, Lebanon Transit is once again offering a Student Fare Card to local students enrolled in K-12, accredited colleges and universities, and trade schools. Signing-up for the card is free, but does require a brief application. Students must also present a valid 2024-2025 school or student photo ID, a signed letter from the school, or last year’s Student Fare Card or Student ID.
Once students have their fare card, they can simply board any Lebanon Transit fixed route bus at any time and present their Student Fare Card to the driver to pay the reduced fare of $1.00 per trip. Lebanon Transit reminds customers that it is an “exact change” company, meaning students would need to pay exactly $1.00. Lebanon Transit drivers are not able to make change.
Students may use their Student Fare Card to ride the bus for any purpose. For fixed route information, including routes and schedules, visit: https://lebanontransit.org/routes/
