Lebanon Transit (LT), located in Lebanon, PA, is soliciting bids for the construction of the LT 2018 Major Maintenance Project.

The full Invitation For Bid (IFB) and Bid Documents are available by contacting LT’s Engineer, and includes a Project Manual, specifications, construction plans and details.

This Project will be bid with multiple work components.  A bidder may submit a bid for single components, or all components combined.  The general work components are:

  1. Roof Replacement and Miscellaneous Construction
  2. Overhead Door Replacement and Miscellaneous Construction
  3. Compressed Air System Repairs and Miscellaneous Construction
  4. Asphalt Paving Overlay and Miscellaneous Construction

The deadline for bid submissions is 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, Wednesday, September 26, 2018. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and date.  No late bids will be accepted or considered.  Lebanon Transit will not be responsible for late postal delivery nor will postmark dates be considered in honoring bids. Late bids will be returned unopened and unread.  Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.

A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the LT office, located at 200 Willow Street, Lebanon, PA 17046.

Bidders will be required to comply with all applicable Non-Discrimination and Non-Collusion Laws and Regulations and to certify they are not on the Comptroller General’s List of ineligible contractors (

LT in accordance with Title VI of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Parts 21 and 23 of 49 C.F.R. notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE’s) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Invitation For Bid and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.

Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates are required for this Project.
