LT is requesting bids to design and construct rehabilitated and/or new bus stops

Notice is hereby given that Lebanon Transit is requesting bids to design and construct rehabilitated and/or new bus stops as defined within the Contract Documents. Sealed bids clearly marked “BUS STOP REHABILITATION PROJECT – REBID” will be received at the administrative office of Lebanon Transit, 200 Willow Street, Lebanon, PA 17046 until 3:00 p.m., prevailing time on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Lebanon Transit administrative office, 200 Willow Street, Lebanon, PA, 17046 at 1:00 p.m., prevailing time on Friday, July 21, 2017. Final written questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m., prevailing time Monday, July 31, 2017. Written responses will then be returned to all Bidders by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

The Bidder’s attention is directed to the fact that all applicable Federal and State laws, municipal ordinances and codes, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction shall apply to the Contract throughout, and they are deemed to be included in the Contract the same as though herein written in full.

All Bids and Contracts are subject to a Financial Assistance Agreement between Lebanon Transit, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration. This Project will require Davis-Bacon wage rates which will be included in the bid documents.

Bidders will be required to comply with all applicable Non-Discrimination and Non-Collusion laws and regulations and to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General’s list of ineligible contractors (

Lebanon Transit, in accordance with Title VI of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Parts 21 and 23 of 49 C.F.R., notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE’s) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Invitation for Bid and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award.

NO late bids will be accepted or considered. Lebanon Transit will not be responsible for late postal delivery service nor will postmark dates be considered in honoring bids. Late bids will be returned unopened and unread. Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.
