Flag Stop Zones Established for Harrisburg Routes

Lebanon Transit establishes Flag Stop Zones for Harrisburg routes

Posted: December 10, 2025

[Lebanon, PA] – Lebanon Transit officials announced today they have established what they are calling Flag Stop Zones for Commute King Express Harrisburg A and B routes.

Effective immediately, Harrisburg A will operate as a Flag Stop service inside Lebanon County, considered between Lingle Avenue in Palmyra Borough and the Transfer Station. Meanwhile, Harrisburg B will operate as Flag Stop inside Lebanon City, considered between the intersection at 12th and Maple Streets and the Transfer Station.

Flag Stop service allows passengers to board or exit a bus at any safe, non-designated point along the route by signaling the driver.

“We know that riders just want to get home faster after a long day of work, so we’re making that happen with this change,” said Lebanon Transit executive director, Angie Luciotti.

Outside of the Flag Stop Zones, these buses will continue to operate as Express, only stopping at designated locations as listed in the bus schedules.

No other routes are affected by this change.
