Lebanon Transit is here to help you get where you need to go. LT, as well as other public transit systems across the State have established the means to transport anyone, regardless of age or disability.
Right-to-Know
Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law provides citizens of the Commonwealth the right to request, inspect and obtain copies of public records. Below is information for citizens to request copies of records maintained by Lebanon Transit Authority (LT), pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. § 66.1 et seq., and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Governor’s Office Management Directive 205.36, which is incorporated by reference.
Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)
Reasonable Modifications
Lebanon Transit customers who utilize the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) Complementary Paratransit / Shared Ride service will be provided with door-to-door service vs. curb to curb when a request for Reasonable Modification is accepted. There are no restrictions on when a customer may request a Reasonable Modification, but customers are encouraged to place a written request as soon as possible.

Visitors Procedure
Lebanon Transit will honor all ADA requests for service from visitors who have received and present ADA documentation from another jurisdiction in which they reside. If the visitor does not have documentation LT will require documentation of the visitor’s place of residence and his/her disability if the disability is not apparent.
Lebanon Transit will be available for the requesting visitor. Lebanon Transit will provide this service for no more than 21 days in any 365-day period. Visitors may apply for eligibility in order to receive service in excess of the 21 days referenced above.

Service Animal Policy
Lebanon Transit allows service animals to accompany individuals with disabilities in all vehicles and facilities. A service animal is defined as an animal “individually trained to work and/or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.” LT does not allow emotional support or comfort animals on the vehicles or in the facilities.

Respiratory Transport Policy
Customers in need of respirators shall be permitted to bring concentrators and/or portable oxygen on all Fixed Route and Shared Ride / Paratransit vehicles. Operators will not refuse transportation to any customer using this equipment. If necessary contact the Fixed Route Supervisor or Manager of Safety and Security for assistance.
