What is the Senior Program?
Thanks to the Pennsylvania Lottery, persons age 65+ who sign-up for a Senior Lottery Funded Transit ID Card (Senior Transit Card) ride on Shared Ride van services for a reduced fare. The card is free to sign-up for and the current reduced fare is $2.50 per trip.
Additionally, board any Fixed Route bus and show the driver your Senior Transit Card to ride for FREE! Traveling to another part of Pennsylvania? Take your card with you. It is valid for free rides on all Fixed Route bus services across PA, except SEPTA in Philadelphia.
How to apply
Step 1*
Fill out the Senior Transit Card Application. Click below to fill it out or visit Lebanon Transit’s main office at 200 Willow Street in Lebanon.
*Have a group and a venue? Lebanon Transit staff are available to visit groups to present on Shared Ride services and offer on-site registration. Call 717.274.3664 to setup.
Step 2
You’ll need to verify your date of birth by showing one of the following forms of ID:
- Armed Forces Discharge/Separation Papers
- Baptismal Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- Photo Motor Vehicle Operator’s License
- Pace Identification Card
- Resident Alien Card
- Passport / Naturalization Papers
- Pennsylvania ID Card
- Statement of Age from Social Security Administration

Receive your Senior Transit Card same day! You MUST be present when submitting the application.
