Lebanon Transit announces free fare days for Veterans, Active Military

Lebanon Transit announced today that veterans and active duty service members ride for free on all Fixed Route buses November 10 – 15 in recognition of Veterans Day. Riders can simply board any Fixed Route bus and present the driver with a valid ID. Forms of valid ID include a VA card, active duty card, retired card, driver’s license with veteran logo, or DD214 discharge form.
Lebanon Transit reminds customers that its city and county Fixed Route buses operate as a flag stop service. A person can simply wave to signal a driver to stop anywhere along the bus route. The bus will stop at the closest safe spot to allow boarding.
Route maps and schedules can be found online at https://lebanontransit.org/routes/, onboard all buses, at the Transfer Station at 7th and Willow Streets, or at Lebanon Transit’s main office at 200 Willow Street in Lebanon.
Shared Ride services are not included in the promotion.
