Route 72 / Cornwall Road Corridor Safety Study (Public Meeting and Survey)

The Lebanon County Planning Department, as staff support for the LEBCO MPO (Lebanon County Metropolitan Planning Organization) and its programs, has partnered with WSP and is conducting a transportation study of the Route 72 and Cornwall Road corridors between Oak Street in Lebanon and Rt. 419 in Cornwall and West Cornwall.

As a stakeholder along these corridors, we’re letting you know about an upcoming public open house and survey for this study! The Lebanon County Planning Department and WSP are hosting a public open house as follows:

Date: Wednesday, January 14th, 2026

Time: 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Location: Lebanon County Department of Emergency Services (1805 Cornwall Road, Lebanon, PA 17042)

The meeting will be an open house – you may come at any time, explore the informational boards at your pace, provide your input, and learn more from the engineers and planners involved in the study.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, they are also seeking input via an online survey, which will be open from December 22, 2025 to January 19, 2026. You can access the survey here: https://wspengages.com/route-72-cornwall-road-corridor. A map of the study area is also included in this link.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Jon Fitzkee of the Lebanon County Planning Department at (717) 274-2801 ext. 2339.
